The Illuminati Interpretation, Part 2.

Is there really evidence for the Illuminati? Can I do anything about it all anyway?

I have read countless articles, watched hours of footage on Youtube, spent many a lonely hour pondering on the eternal question "What's it all about, really?"

My research, if such it can be called, has often suggested a hidden web underlying the world. Although this vale of tears appears chaotic, random, uncontrolled possibly even uncontrollable, yet there is a system, a method within the madness. It's just a question of following the threads, expanding one's viewpoint upwards and outwards until the pattern is revealed.

I am not alone, as the countless comments from all corners of the earth on clips and postings proves. Many others are now seeing the intricate tapestry for what it truly might be; a world-wide web of wealth, power and control, a malignant spider of unlimited patience and stealth squatting at its centre, feeding on the poor, helpless flies struggling valiantly but in vain to escape, they know not where nor how. Few even realise they are caught, so subtle is the mesh.

And by what name is this foul arachnid known? It is the Illuminati! We see you now, enemy! We have torn away the veil, we rebel, we refuse, we rise up to overthrow you! Such is the call to arms of the visionaries!

But wait, surely thoughts such as these are heretical, insane, the paranoid delusions of one who has stumbled through the gates of delirium? Where is the evidence? What is the purpose of such Machiavellian malignancy?

Such are the responses of those who will not or can not see the obvious truth. The unenlightened masses, the ignorant swarm, those poor fools in the herd of humanity. How can they be shown, how can they be taught?

By the same methods all things are taught. Through speaking, writing and teaching.

And what form must this instruction take? The symbolic form, for this is the only method we have in this world. To pass from one mind to another, from one generation to those who follow, all wisdom is presented through symbols, be they spoken, written, painted, drawn or composed. So, too, can the enemy be described and their purpose.

It is to feed on us, on our energy, our labour, the product and profit of our work, to maintain and expand their control over us, this is the purpose of the web. The strands are not silk, they are words. Laws, customs, encoded norms and social, cultural expectations. These are the ties that bind us.

The glue is conformity, acceptance, willingness to believe without question. Watching mindless dross on the expensive idiot-box in the living room. Swallowing the meaningless soundbites from the weasel-worded politician. Trotting along with the rest of the flock to the directions of the shepherd with his holy book, swimming with the shoal under the watchful eye of the fisher of men, kept in line by hook or by crook, manipulated, guided, controlled by the sheep-dogs in uniform, the sharks in suits.

The child obeys the adult, for the adult is bigger, stronger, wiser. The adult takes strength from the tribe, for the many are more than the sum of the individuals. The clan, the tribe, the nation, the race; the many are stronger than the one. The many are bonded by the laws of custom, tradition, experience. The nation obeys the law for it is the mightiest shield. The masses stay in line for to step outside is to be exposed to danger, even to death. This is how we have grown and evolved, from the cave to the city. This is progress and it is good, so say the masses, therefore we are happy to obey the law.

But who are the keepers of the law? And what exactly is its basis?

Its foundation is knowledge. The keepers are those who have understanding of and access to information.

Knowledge is power. Power is wealth. Have the former, have the latter. And power, by definition, is the ability to change, to control, to manipulate the world, for good or evil, through the withholding or conferring of power and wealth. How is knowledge kept or shared, how is the basis of power itself controlled? How can those in control recognise each other, now that the web has been spun so far across time and space? Through symbols.

The human world is one of hierarchies. The very few, the elite at the top have power, those at the bottom, the huddled masses have none. Those in between obey those above and oppress those below.  Is there a symbolic representation of such a system? Indeed, there is, and it is an ancient symbol though it can be drawn in modern guise, too.

The pyramid, surmounted by the eye, is the symbol of the Illuminati. It is found across the globe, throughout the ages. The struggle for dominance, to reach top of the pyramid, is as old as our species. Has it not been said:

The history of all hitherto existing society is the history of class struggles.

Freeman and slave, patrician and plebeian, lord and serf, guild-master and journeyman, in a word, oppressor and oppressed, stood in constant opposition to one another, carried on an uninterrupted, now hidden, now open fight, a fight that each time ended, either in a revolutionary reconstitution of society at large, or in the common ruin of the contending classes.

In the earlier epochs of history, we find almost everywhere a complicated arrangement of society into various orders, a manifold gradation of social rank. In ancient Rome we have patricians, knights, plebeians, slaves; in the Middle Ages, feudal lords, vassals, guild-masters, journeymen, apprentices, serfs; in almost all of these classes, again, subordinate gradations.

The modern bourgeois society that has sprouted from the ruins of feudal society has not done away with class antagonisms. It has but established new classes, new conditions of oppression, new forms of struggle in place of the old ones.

Our epoch, the epoch of the bourgeoisie, possesses, however, this distinct feature: it has simplified class antagonisms. Society as a whole is more and more splitting up into two great hostile camps, into two great classes directly facing each other — Bourgeoisie and Proletariat.

But dear old Karl was not even voicing an original thought. 2,000 years earlier, Juvenal wrote:

… Already long ago, from when we sold our vote to no man, the People have abdicated our duties; for the People who once upon a time handed out military command, high civil office, legions — everything, now restrains itself and anxiously hopes for just two things: bread and circuses

[...] iam pridem, ex quo suffragia nulli / uendimus, effudit curas; nam qui dabat olim / imperium, fasces, legiones, omnia, nunc se / continet atque duas tantum res anxius optat, / panem et circenses. [...]

(Juvenal, Satire 10.77–81)

In other words, the masses merely stay in line, obey the oppressor, are frequently neither aware of nor concerned by their enslavement, just so long as there's another pizza being delivered, another football match on the screen, and any danger is far away and happening to somebody else.

Those in the middle echelons are happy to shore up the edifice, just as long as those horrid people beneath stay in their council estates and trailer parks, just as long as there's always a policeman or soldier to keep the riff-raff out.

Those at the top are positively delighted to sit on their thrones, relax on their private yachts, fly to their luxury Caribbean island aboard their private jet, just so long as those below keep struggling against each other, stabbing each other in the back, scrabbling like mangy dogs over every titbit thrown down from on high, be it money, influence or even the empty promise of eternal salvation.

This is the true state of affairs of our world. We cannot escape. Where could we go? How could we survive?

Surrender is the only option. The Illuminati control everything; the spider is invincible, the web is unbreakable, the only sensible choice is to keep your head down, stay in the lines, don't attract attention and hope for the best.

At least, that's what I thought. I had applied my brain to a problem, I had gathered evidence, I had interpreted the evidence and reached a conclusion. The world is controlled — somebody is controlling it — that somebody is far more powerful than I am — I can accept this or I can be crushed. QED.

I was wrong.
