Turns out my sister has been doing it for a while. That’s right, my elder-by-six-years-and-mother-of-four-110lb sister has apparently decided being perfect needed perfecting and so took pity on the thing our family shalt never speak of…me.
No, no I really don’t folks. The drudge of getting to the park early enough to avoid people ducking for cover mistaking the sound of your thundering steps for full blown trail demolition? The panting for breath through wide open mouth and even wider nostrils and unsure of which is producing the wheezing by post-warm-up? The sheer weightlessness when air bound in a cloud of tranquillity…Okay, so obviously that’s usually the point at which a charitable stranger has kicked my hallucinating, passed out self out of their path thus kindly brining me back around. No, clearly my fatlings, I am no fan of the sport. But, I have indeed taken it up. Well, my above rendition that is, with the addition of a bazzillion stop and starts of course.
Turns out my sister has been doing it for a while. That’s right, my elder-by-six-years-and-mother-of-four-110lb sister has apparently decided being perfect needed perfecting and so took pity on the thing our family shalt never speak of…me. So when I decided to slow her right down in the hopes that my company would help make up for her resultant total lack of exercise, she decided to go on a spiritual journey for two weeks? Of course I know the two aren’t connected *nervous laugh with snort*, I know that for a fact *seriously high intonation on fact). But It has left me wondering, is this my Everest? Not overall, I mean that way I have an Everest or eight in every area of my life, but I mean exercise specifically? Guess we’ll see given that I will be trying to go it alone for the next coupla weeks whilst she recuperates from my damage, sorry the damage, sorry ANY damage I mean, any…*even higher pitched nervous snorting* really, it’s not me!
Well God help me here because I’m pretty sure the dogs wont take so kindly at me faced down on their track this time- it’s not every day their the ones cleaning up the foul…
