The Shoe Stall
A lucid dreaming personal learning.
Hello, I'm Adriano Bulla (call me Ade), poet, novelist, journalist and academic.
I am a voice for the alternative. I have published a 'hallucinogenic', totally 'different' and unusual novel, 'The Road to London'; two collections of short poems, including 'Queer Poems', short stories, 'Lucid Dreaming' (a book on, well, guess lucid dreams), 'New Age Spirit' (which draws the bigger, philosophical picture of New Age spirituality), 'The Labyrinth of Grammar' (a crash course in grammar), 'Assessment for Learning' (a book on AfL for teachers), 'The Mariner's Inferno' (a study on Dante and Coleridge) and lots of articles. I am now working on a novel that I hope will be even more innovative than 'The Road to London' and the working title is 'The Dreamcatcher'; it will take me a few years to finish it...
I am a strong believer in Human Rights, a tree hugger, very spiritual and a proud freak.
My themes? Dreams always come into it, I don't know why... But basically anything that has to do with the Human mind and, more to the point, the Human (and cosmic) soul.
Style? Well, it changes. I can't be asked to stick to a format. Every time I write, it needs to be something new and different. Still, I mix prose, poetry, art, music and the voices of different artists and writers. Usually intense, actually always, and because I am synaesthetic, I mix sounds, colours, smells etc.
