I loved this and other of Andrea's 'accented' pieces when I first read them. This, and the others, have the sense, and potential, for short TV sit-coms. Like we used to get in dem good ol' days.
Nice one Andrea! :)
I wonder if you have a story we could use? I am organising a series of books in aid of Cancer Research. The books comprise short stories (fiction) for either adults or children, between 800 and 8000 words and can be almost any subject except porn and horror. We are also looking for poems, interesting true-life events, and monochrome drawings. The publisher is ATLApublishing.com. It is great publicity for you as you give your web site/Twitter/whatever and a short bio, and the books will be available in all English-speaking countries. It can be a story you already have, and you will keep all rights to it after the book(s) is/are published. We would love to have something from you!
I am hoping to get these next ones out in time for Christmas, so a mid-November deadline.
All good wishes
