Native Upstate New Yorker relocated to Manhattan (and not loving it…grew up surrounded by farms, now surrounded by cement)
Avid and aspiring poet named after Anne of Green Gables (it’s Anne spelled with an E, but everyone calls me Annie)
Free-spirited INFJ with wild, untamed red(ish) hair, far too much anxiety, and an intense passion for all things literary
Often daydreaming and always searching for a connection or deeper meaning
An old soul suffering from chronic resting bitch face syndrome who would rather be barefoot, covers her mouth when she laughs (or snorts when she laughs too hard), carries a notebook with her everywhere, misses seeing the stars at night, and is a bit too obsessed with reading (especially poetry)
Animals, art, words, poetry, travel, DIY projects, antiques, Woodstock, stargazing, gardening, & vinyl records are my favorite things
This blog began as a way to get some of my work out there for people to see- fellow writers, literature lovers, and potential future employers.
I also wanted to provide other writers an opportunity to pass on any helpful advice for landing a GREAT job in somewhere within the publishing industry.
I may not be so outgoing, preferring to sit back and observe, making notes in my head (or on whatever I have to write on in front of me), but I let my imagination and my creativity lead me away from any doubt or unhappiness I may have in my writing.
I read, embrace, and find inspiration from all literature and everything around me, and I apply that inspiration to life as well as writing.
I write. And I grow, and I grow, and I grow.
