Hi, I'm a retired professional engineering geek turned scribe. Proud husband, dad, granddad, brother, uncle, and cancer survivor & passionate cancer advocate. I started writing poetry in my teens, folk-rock-blues songs in my twenties, a (half-finished) techno-spy thriller novel in my thirties, and my first screenplay in 2010 (a ROM-COM). Have a memoir in-progress (~35%) and am currently working on a supernatural thriller novel (then screenplay adaptation). I wrote more than one hundred business documents (business plans, strategic plans, tech white papers, technology & feasibility assessments, tech/engineering services proposals for Government contracts, marketing proposals, and patent applications (one awarded) in my 30 year career. I served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. And last but not least, I owned and sponsored several professional championship contending sports car race cars in the Trans-Am and IMSA Series. Our car won the pole and was the overall leader for 5+ hours at the 2003 Rolex 24-Hour race at Daytona.
