Inventor, creator, author, dad, husband, son. Interested in creative change of many types, from organizations to lego on a sunday afternoon.
I am driven to create in a world where creativity is a dwindling art, people try to turn art into science to understand it. What ever happened to admiring something beautiful because its beautiful. I started writing about artificial intelligence (very badly) at the age of 18. I had no idea, I would be still writing about it, and working with it at the age of 45. As we reach the Alternate Intelligence tipping point, its important to understand it could be something wonderful. There could be a union of feeling and intelligence that makes two imperfect things understand the world better. Alternate Intelligence, we argue won’t understand how to feel. But what if it can? What if it wants to and makes a contract with one of you to download you into its core processors in exchange for learning how to feel?
A new era of alternate intelligence is upon us, why are we so set on it being bad? Are we so devoid of faith in what humans have become that we think we would be subservient to another form of life by default?
I love the cold hard logic of my work within Technology, although its fair to say i work with brilliant technologists so I in turn get to work with and help people on a journey of change.
Technology every day leaves me with a thirst for creativity that needs quenching, and so I write, still badly, but… not as badly as when I was 18.
