With an MFA from Boston University and following several productive careers in the arts including Instructor in Drawing and Painting, Dean of Admissions at The Art Institute of Boston, President of Documentary Educational Resources — a film company, I now fully embrace being a writer.
As Contributing Editor for DOCUMENTARY Magazine, contributing writer for ART NEW ENGLAND and contributing writer for VERMONT WOMAN magazine, I regularly exercise my skills in writing non-fiction.
As a member of the Burlington Writers Workshop (BWW) I have had creative non-fiction published in the 2014 anthology THE BEST OF THE BURLINGTON WRITERS WORKSHOP, and have had a number of essays published in various journals in 2013-2014. I recently accepted a role as Art Editor for the new literary and art journal MUD SEASON REVIEW scheduled for launch in September 2014 by the BWW. I live in Burlington Vermont with Ethel, my 110 pound St. Bernard/Golden Retriever “puppy”.
