Cranberry — A Headmaster's Journal
New writing, self-published first book.
Hello there! I was brought up in Norwich, and aged five when the Second World War started. My father was a compositor for the Eastern Daily Press. As a child I developed an early love of books from my mother who was a primary school teacher. Educated at Norwich School, I went on to study English, graduating with an MA from St Catharine's College Cambridge — following two years RAF National Service stationed in England and Iraq. Following teacher training I taught English in several secondary schools in both the private and state sector. Now retired living on the beautiful Isle of Wight I enjoy choral singing and divide my time between my four grandchildren and writing.
