Good Morning, Good Afternoon and Good Evening, now I have that covered I shall endeavour to explain a little bit more about me. My name is Emma I am thirty-seven years old and a mother of one, I have been writing since I can remember, and although I agree and accept my writing is not fantastic for an aspiring author. I am dyslexic and have learning disabilities as well as mental health issues. But that is neither here or there really, for one this is about me and my writing for me throughout my life it has been my focal point, it helps to alleviate the pain and suffering I go throughout my life it is a place I vent my feelings and ideas that the outside world would normally ridicule me for. It is a sanctuary I can escape from the real world like many writers, I guess I am fortunate enough to be able to write twenty-four seven and aim to have my first novel out by November this year. I have a facebook page entitled "Dreams from a fractured world" where I have a range of my work as this is the page I use for my blogs, I also have a page I recently created called "Book Promotions by E L Hewitt" which is a page I aim to display not just my books but those of other authors. I have written three books of poetry described as dark and entertaining yet inspirational, my first book was to enlighten people about what it is like to have a mental illness. The other two also give an insight into the hell of mental illness but shows that along with the darkness, comes the light at the end of the tunnel. I also wrote a fourth book last year which was specifically designed for children aged ten years to thirteen, purely of children's poetry stepping away from that of the original three. Although aimed at a tween (10 — 13 year) audience, I have had a lot of people say many of the poems are suitable for children of all ages. My hobbies include a range of topics from politics through to Geopolitics, researching conspiracy theories and storytelling, researching the occult and paranormal, as well as the fortean and unique. I also enjoy singing and dancing through to writing scripts in my spare time and reading, my favourite books are the old fashioned classic novels by Charles Dickens and George Orwell, Oscar Wilde and much more. My favourite Poets are W B Yeats, A E Housman, Walt Whitman, Maya Angelou, Benjamin Zephaniah to name a few. I find it inspirational that over the past few years many of the actors and singers I have liked over the years have come out and made it known that mental health issues/illnesses have plagued either their lives or they have. do know sufferers of mental illness. In life, it is your choice to pick up a gun and shoot it, but mental illness is a loaded gun waiting to go off in the middle of the night, and it is a decision not made completely by the person who suffers when they are lost in the darkness of a major depressive mood. But it is possible to pass through this stage and move through the darkness to the light with the correct support something that I got last year and so far have published four books of poetry which have helped me in many ways. Please remember sometimes just saying "Hello" to a complete stranger can make that person's life a little brighter, it can even save a life such simple words cost nothing but mean so much to a person who is struggling. Above all else please remember no matter how dark life gets, how bad a review is please remember one thing if nothing else and that is my favourite saying "Never Give Up"
