Loved this. I had the most remarkable experience with deja vu when I was about 6. It was so vivid, I remembered it as a dream. Ten years later that dream unfurled itself and I experienced premonition for couple of minutes. Everything, down to my emotional state in that dream was happening again before and behind my eyes.
I've since had many other instances of deja vu in my life. They are a normal occurrence for me. But never again that vivid and sustained.
I doubt we as beings will be able to experience even our own universe in a trillion lifetimes without some great, currently unfathomable leap in our evolution.
I've heard it said that we are the universe experiencing itself in human form. That thought bugs me. I can't explain why. I don't want to infer the universe is dumb by calling it automatic but I think maybe too much importance is placed on us by that statement. It smacks of creation.
People have this thing about randomness, like it's improbable or impossible. And yet we see improbability get turned on its head again and again.
It's a great feeling to contemplate the universe and its possibilities.
Existing in possibilities is certainly more interesting than collapsing them into a single reality. : )
