My writing took off very late in life. After spending some time recuperating from various operations, the last of which meant one month in a major Oxford hospital. My son gave me a copy of Alan Bennett's 'Talking Heads'. I was hooked. My first two, virtually self-published, attempts at writing some life memories; available on Kindle,'Some Fact Some Fiction' and 'Raw Facts make Real Fiction', set me off. The love of reading is somewhat curbed as I have macular degeneration, but it does not curb my love of writing. I have now taken and completed two writing courses with 'Writing magazine', which I am told has improved my work. I LOOK FORWARD TO JOINING IN WITH YOUR COMMUNITY OF WRITERS AT 'Scriggler'. My main work is 'Short Stories' and 'Poetry.
