Prose about the feeling of anger toward someone who has put you through a traumatic experience.
My name is L and I am from Pennsylvania. I am a photographer, photo-manipulator, photo-editor, and writer. I'm self-taught in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. I went from not understanding the programs to mastering them within a one-year duration. Of course, the mastery of any adobe product means a continued learning, as the programs are ever-constantly growing. My main art mediums are digital darkroom, and photo manipulation. I do mostly self-portraiture, which has been very therapeutic for me. My art encompasses a surrealistic look that is enchanting and at times (more often than not,) quite dark. I only not share my creativity, but I also offer the services of photo editing and manipulation.
My creative portfolio of retouching, compositing, and conceptual work grew quickly, and I soon became a globally recognized Artist. My images have been published in books, and shared on different sites. Ever since, I have been committed to sharing my methods of creative conceptual digital photography, both online and in-person.
I like to write, and I don't really follow anything except for what my brain tells me to spit out. Perhaps it's eloquent and perhaps it's not, but it's my heart and soul.
I've traveled a bit, lived in Atlanta, GA and in Seattle, WA for a few years. I love all things Japanese, and have a bonsai collection. Apart from photography and image editing, writing is my obsession. I write- mainly prose with no general direction, just whatever is in my cranium at the time. I love art in all forms and I love to read books. I love music and I am very diverse with my musical taste. I like anything from hardcore industrial to jazz. I have two cats, Cricket and Gray and they are my babies.
Due to some life experiences, I have PTSD and depression, which my art has greatly helped me to deal with and work through. I am a great listener, quiet and observant, and I have a very sarcastic, dark and dry sense of humor. I am excited to continue making creative, conceptual images, teaching and inspiring people at every level, working with amazing artists of all kinds, and becoming a resource for anyone interested in learning photography and Photoshop, photo-manipulation etc. To see my portfolio, check out http://dnafever.crevado.com/ and for new exposures.
