The Fall by Marie Cassagnol
The night before.
My name is Marie L. Cassagnol. I was born in Cayes Haiti, South of Port-Au-Prince. I am a mother of two children and four adorable grandchildren: Brendan, Tristan, Zaylan and Kaydan. In high school, I participated in the team Championship of volley ball in 1969, chez les Soeurs de la charite de Saint Louis. Growing up I wanted to become a nun mostly because I attended catholic school. After I graduated high school, I attended Lycee Philippe Guerrier des Cayes. There I changed my mind, I looked outside of the convent house, and I got married.
When I arrived in the United States of America, I didn’t feel passionate about the jobs that I was doing; I went back to school. I attended Roxbury Community College and I received my GED. At the same college I took some pre-nursing courses. Family matters got a toll on me; I dropped out of college at the end of second year. I attended a business school where I acquired a medical assistant diploma. Actually, I am an inspiring writer.
