The world is ablaze with on-going news of the Middle East. My writing is obsessed by politics the politics of the region. In my recently published novel, "A Call To Prayer," a teacher of English gets caught up in an espionage thriller set in the capitols of Yemen, Turkey, Greece, and Saudi Arabia. In the novel I am presently working on, "The Hand of Fatimah," Yemen once again serves as a backdrop as a 12 year old boy is turned into a spy. I also authored a series of novels for Playboy Books as part of The World of High Fashion series; a play I wrote, "The Roommates," was given a production by Manhattan Theater Club;" I served as Editor in Chief of Men's Style, a national fashion journal, and my freelance pieces have appeared in The Sunday New York Times, Us, Penthouse (UK), etc.
