Niki Flow (a palindrome of "wolf-i-kin") is my new pen name. I used to write under the name Sara Michele O'Sullivan. O'Sullivan is an ancestral family name and the name used for my poetry site Moonsongs.net. I worked for most of my life as a legal/executive assistant and, for most of my life, I stuffed my stories into a drawer for some day. I like to think some day is here. I published my first book on Amazon, an eBook called Elanthian Love Songs. It's a bard's tale, a collection of poems I wrote years ago. Currently my passions include Volunteer Biographers (writers who give their skills to write life elders' life stories which are then gifted to the family) and Under1000Skies, a photography blog which supports the passions of homeless artists. Half the profits from my book and all books in the future will support these two groups, among others. (For example, the purchase of bindings, printing, and paper for Volunteer Biographers and for artist kits -- disposable cameras, blankets, and other useful items -- for Under1000Skies). The Moonsongs poetry collection will support the work of RAINN.org when I publish it next year which is also when the site will go live again. Another heart-song and ongoing project is the creation of inspirational graphics using simple drawings, "Rx-for-Healing," "Gems," and "Great Advice from Wise People" which are sent to an email list and shared on social media. My lifetime goal is to create 10,000 such graphics (only about 8500 to go). =) Since 2015, I have been one of the scribes on Service Space for the Awakin.org calls. Service Space was founded by Nipun Mehta ("Designing for Generosity" TEDx). I believe life is in two parts: finding your passion and then giving it away. The operative word here is "give." As Nimo Patel sings in his beautiful song, "I am planting seeds, nothing more." ♥.
