I have been writing fiction for more than twenty years and have three self-published titles on the market, though still have not learned the art of "Marketing;" it's a whole different business from writing. I retired from the Navy in '93 and put my experiences as an EOD Technician (Bomb Squad) to good use as fodder for my first two novels: Critical Response and Bound by Honor, the first two installments to my GREEN Team trilogy.
My latest offering is in the epic fantasy genre and is called: Splinter of Asgard. The first part is titled, The Cost of Magic, and introduces us to Torval, an insecure Viking boy of sixteen who while trying to find his place among his peers wakes an ancient magic and is compelled to undertake a quest to return the relic to the Rainbow Bridge and the gods of Asgard from where it came.
I look forward to sharing ideas, constructive criticisms (such as I can), and reading the great writing of others here at Scriggler.
