Artist|Author: Rivenrod stands for integrity & humanity against the shameless excesses of the 21st Century. Immersed in Realpolitik he is carelessly un-PC yet diplomatically forthright: shabby yet chic: a liver of many lives. He is also an Advocate of the SpeakOut Organisation and supporter of War on Want and Action Aid.
Things that interest me: Alpha: art history, artists, the written word, humanity and discovering faces in floor coverings. I have also enjoyed a lifelong quest to explore the many and varied ways in which eggs and tomatoes may be used as tools of persuasion.
Beta: making music, modelling with clay, eavesdropping and jelly slapping, belly dancing, maggot racing and developing new strategies for pissing off those who are so very much in love with themselves, and their ridiculously elevated statuses, that they can't help but talk shit and fart through their ears.
You know who you are!
But most importantly: I am passionately concerned with the preservation of ancient and contemporary nomadic cultures. Coupled with this I hold the unwavering belief that all human beings have a duty to fight with whatever it takes and call to account those who carry out, condone and advocate genocide in any of its forms. Including those who stand by and do nothing.
Swell, the new novel by Rivenrod, is available everywhere.
