Ron Greenfield spent the early part of his career in New York City as a film graphic art director, designing and producing on-air promotions and trailers for network /cable television and the Hollywood studios. Joining CBS/FOX as creative director, he conceived the first home video campaigns for such films as Sophie’s Choice, Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi as well as many of the early Woody Allen films.
In Los Angeles he joined Republic Pictures as Senior Director of Creative Services, originating the creative campaigns for the company’s indie and Hallmark Hallof Fame home entertainment releases as well as work on the popular series Beauty and The Beast, several television pilots, award-winning mini-series and reality programming. From Republic he went to work for the legendary Aaron Spelling as Vice President of Marketing and Creative Services, receiving several industry awards for creative excellence.
As Chief Marketing Officer for the firm of Software Magic, he worked on developing console and online gaming concepts with companies such as Electronic Arts, Atari, Activision, Dreamworks Interactive, Mattel, and Lucas Arts.
Today he is the creator of the website, www.aspectsofentertainment.com. Having worked in so many areas of the entertainment industry, he sees it as a portal of information providing useful information and tools for anyone, especially individuals seeking careers in the industry.
