MGate. The rebranding of a classic, English seaside holiday resort. By Steve Swindells. Taken from 'Sex N' Drugs N' Sausage Rolls', my burgeoning multimedia collection of short stories, true tales, photos, artworks and original music.
I'm an author, singer-songwriter, painter, musician and photographer. Formerly, in the 70s I was a minor pop (Pilot) and rock (Hawkind) star; in the 80s, a very successful club promoter (The Lift,Jungle, Bad, Downbeat, Groove) and party organiser (Madonna, Prince, Time Out Magazine etc); in the 90s a journalist (TIme Out and Attitude magazines) and in the Noughties I got back into recording with my all-star band DanMingo, featuring members of Culture Club, Massive Attack and Hawkwind. In 2010 I started writing 'My Unplanned Obsolescence' under the pseudonym Thom Topham. This #MultimediaEbook is currently free to peruse (http://thomtopham.wordpress.com/about) and comprises 12 Chapters, 96K words, 19 original songs, scores of pics and hundreds of links. My second #MultimediaEbook is under my own name and rejoices in the title "Sex N' Drugs N' Sausage Rolls'. It's a burgeoning collection of short stories, true tales, photos, artworks and original music and is also currently free to enjoy (http://steveswindells.wordpress.com/about). Both #MultimediaEbooks have had well-over 5K views. Is there such a thing as a publisher of #MultimediaEbooks, or should I self-publish to Kindle Fire and iPad?
