The 4th of July is fast approaching and Americans prepare to celebrate but what exactly are we celebrating?

I and My ancestors are Black, we were considered property in 1876, according to the constitution 3/5 of a person. I can't celebrate the 4th of July when I know that My people didn't gain any freedom in America in 1776. In fact it wasn't until almost 100 years later in 1865, 2 years past the start of the emancipation proclamation for all Blacks to be freed in America.
