The Ballad of the Giving Man

-

We the midnight day dreamers and silent narrators

-

The lone poets and inspired singers

-

Keep ringing your ethereal bells

-

Someone is always listening

-

Even in the light and dark hours

-

Share your experiences and thoughts and watch them open and begin to flower

-

Your dreams were always destined to flourish and bloom

-

It's simply always been bestowed as your supernatural power

-

In a world alive and preaching with self proclaiming cynicism

-

Rise above the herd

-

You deserve to be always heard

-

Be Courageous

-

Don't live in self imposed oblivion

-

Instead seek expressions multi layered doctrines

-

It's simply freedoms many diverse religions

-

Are you willing to be free

-

To just be

-

Too just let your caged bird free

-

To see your words sing of your happiness

-

Heartbreak or even of pain

-

Catharsis is such a wondrous purging rain

-

Release those emotions

-

Into the oceans and rivers unseen

-

Someone will see and relate

-

You only have to breech your own inner gates

-

Release your caged bird and it will truly fly

-

Don't keep your inner bird in stagnant subjugation

-

For it will just wither and slowly perish

-

Dare you reach for the locks

-

And let it fly high within freedoms many flocks

-

I hope so

-

Your inner bird looks at the bars

-

Stares at freedom

-

And beseeches to fly high

-

Don't rescind its emancipation

-

Let it soar high in God's Kingdoms on this precious Earth

-

You were always born to be so much more

-

You just have to reopen the cages door

-

Words from an old man approaching the end

-

It's my eightieth birthday tomorrow

-

My bird soared all of my life

-

Flying high through happiness

-

Pain and Sorrow

-

But now I am old

-

It still sings but so much slower

-

It sometimes returns to its beating inner cage

-

A place it once lived

-

Lonely

-

Suppressed by fear amid society's harsh judgemental gaze

-

It pauses

-

Looks at its bars

-

And then sings such a divine song of spiritual emancipation

-

Angels must hear it in faraway Celestial kingdoms

-

I now know Its exquisite perpetual songs

-

The freed bird Is simply my own divine soul

-

A freed bird in Lucidity City told me so

-

Singing as one With Consciousness as it's physical bard

-

At the end

-

Our life is simply our own multi platinum song

-

Who we sing with

-

And how we sung

-

Is always been our task

-

We just have shed the physical human mask

-

Your bird deserves to always sing

-

You were always born for it to simply fly

-

Don't keep it imprisoned

-

Let it free

-

The skies limitless

-

Let it embrace your own divine sovereignty

-

To proclaim to all who listens

-

A song of your own spiritual sanctuary

-

I was asked by a close friend

-

It's your birthday tomorrow William

-

What do you desire

-

I replied

-

Nothing

-

I have been happy all of my life

-

My children and kin bring me so much more

-

My soul has reached unknown heights

-

Instead here's a gift I give to the many others and you

-

Let your bird sing throughout all you do

-

The Ballad of the Giving Man

-

Open the cage

Enter into expressions

-

It's always the new rage

-

After all

-

We now exist in Aquarius

-

A time of removing life's many unseen veils

-

Insignificance many be the silent subjugation of the few

-

My friend

-

But it was never meant as a song for you
