Of Thee I Speak

This poem is a reminder to our leaders and our people that this is a nation ruled by the people, and ought not be a people ruled by its nation.

My country? It is of thee.

Fabled land where all are free?

Oh, sweet land of Liberty!

Of thee I speak.

Land where my fathers lie,

Land for which the pilgrims died,

Land for which we all have cried!

Of thee I speak.

So let ring the freedom for which we fight!

And let sing the people far and wide,

That no king shall this great land abide!

Of thee I speak.
