Oh, the places we’ve gone. They are nothing in comparison to where we will venture. Between my shallow heart and your tumultuous breathing, I’d say we ended up on the right road. I looked over and watched you roll the window down and your head sunk into the back of your seat. The salt off the ocean filled my nostrils and doused your lips like the rim of my favorite drink. You smiled so sweetly, but not with your mouth. Your eyes were soft, gently closed and your fingers bounced over the wind like speed bumps. Your hair lost as much control as my heart and just went with it. I wondered what it may be like to drive over the railing and sink with you to the depths for eternity. You are my window rolled down, my Titanic.
