Irony

There was once a man who held a golden egg in his hand

He loved the golden egg and held his hand flat his hand flat out so he could behold thee egg

One day while the man held that which he loved and treasured, a hungry wolf tried to eat the golden egg

The man closed his hand to protect that which he loved and treasured

The wolf could not eat the egg, so he left

Another day, a group of wolves came to admire the golden egg, and the man closed his hand tighter and violently turned away from the wolves

On the next day, a very hungry wolf came to the man with unclear intentions and the man closed his fist as tight as he could and the wolf watched him

The man closed his fist even tighter to ensure the hungry wolf could not even so much as see the golden egg that the man loved and treasured

The wolf left and when the man opened his hand to behold that which he loved and treasured, he saw that he had crushed the golden egg in his hand and wept bitterly
