We call me wolf, and the name itself is a howl into the storm, I will answer in kind. I must.   Do not try to chain me, if you care to keep your fingers, for I will gleefully bite if I feel it... Oh yes.   Now we run together, ...

We call me wolf,

and the name itself

is a howl into the storm,

I will answer in kind.

I must.

Do not try to chain me,

if you care to keep your fingers,

for I will gleefully bite

if I feel it...

Oh yes.

Now we run together,

tireless,

our quarry cannot outpace us.

We are the wind and the teeth in the night.

Our scarlet-tipped claws our lover's touch.

Hot breath misting,

jaws slacken then clench,

teeth white

against the supple red flesh,

tearing irrevocably.
