Poem in freestyle with episodes of rhyme. In the quiet of the evening Seeing above An array of Gods twinkling

Lying still

In the quiet of the evening

Seeing above

An array of Gods twinkling

My body warm

By a summer breeze

My viridian aura begins to swarm

Becoming agitated, unquiet

Like unto stormy seas

It prepares to depart

Then I calm

As the outwardness starts

A flooding over me

Of a soothing balm

I slowly drift up and out

Moving toward the dusk that is twilight

The world fading behind and about

As the twinkling become bright

I become a reaction in forward motion

I travel faster than light

Yet I see all of its colors

Rushing into one

Andromeda waves as I pass her by

Never the one to be shy

A trident streaks across my path

Exploding creating more

Larger, brighter, twinkling

Then dwindles into an inkling

How often I have wondered

The depth of the blackness

Breadth of its majesty

Distance without number

My journey

Now beyond time and space

Beyond the limits of human understanding

I am of the present

As I am a product of yesterday

Yet I belong to tomorrow
