Even the Iron wilts before the scathing gaze of morning

As the lies and deceit seep their decay into the freshly painted walls

And the roof threatens to collapse under the weighty burden of betrayal

What happened here?

Who broke a house once standing proud and serene

It's antique Victorian splendor wrecked

By the willful abandonment of virtue?

Who turned a blind eye, or a scarred cheek

To the inherent damage of cunning?

Thorns seeping viscous venom

Surround and choke the once blissful green gardens

Weeds aplenty wave gently the mutiny of discord in the fetid breeze

Who broke the house once proud, standing tall as model to its neighbors?

Indifference, Cruelty, and violent death

Marr the fragile sight that peace had left
