I hear you singing, clipped and buoyant. A siren-song disguised as a destiny-tale, crawling my soul and filling my senses, a million miles from home.
I hear you singing, clipped and buoyant
A siren-song disguised as a destiny-tale
Crawling my soul and filling my senses
a million miles from home
Every note cuts straight to my heart,
A clean cut of sustained beauty,
It's a wound of pure love and gratitude,
Raw and beating valiantly...
Your voice subtracts my heart
Until the only thing left is your name.
She's sculpted from the stars
Shaped into the form of a star-goddess
Her body-perfect and teasing smile
Transforms the stagnant growth of others
Into wandering hearts of gold.
Her lips, caressed with stardust,
Sling-shot a magical sound,
Vibrating a unique-voice through me,
As she jumps from star-to-star.
I sing to her too.
Soon our voices will harmonize
Until our voices are mixed as one.
