A Man who Loved You

Though written in the past-tense, this poem draws up the unavoidable love into the present. This piece would fit well into a wedding vow, if it is not seen as such.

There is more love filling my cup than anything, an orange fizz crush.

An orange fizz crush.

A crush.

A crush is all you are

A crush is all you are?

If a crush is all you are

Time passes

A crust of pizza of a kind

I will remember

I will remember, love, this time around.

The feelings I bore led to setting free the dove

In dreams, where this once was

For I love, I love, I Love You.

I will for I do.
