There is a rose in a desert of sublimity

A heart that is covered in envious vanity

Ripped fruit to pick

in the middle of sunshine

but in the meadow is a flower of mine.

Through and through the desert we search

uncovering stones and sands and dirts.

Enough is enough we say to each other

where is this rose of mine to uncover?

There is a fire in unconscious space.

A dream of a women’s face.

Upon the hill in the middle of twilight

is the sun dancing down to sleep. Good night!

Through and through the night we search

uncovering stars the moon a hillside perch.

Enough is enough we say to eachother

where is this sun of mine to uncover?

Among the tree tops

there is a dove singing a song.

Melodious harmonies whistled in echoed space

traveling across the earth

to reach his lover.

Through and through the sky we search

uncovering clouds a bird sanctuary, a church.

Enough isn’t enough he says to himself

I’ll fly through the sky to find thyself, my lover.
