Old Man Winter

Cold Bitter

Lost his wife some years ago

Made the bottle his best friend

Alcoholic drinker

Unstable thinker

Grieving for his loss

Since losing himself

Beats himself up

Seriously abusing himself

Thinks he is ok and does not need help

Helpless to the world

Lost faith in all hope

After trying to jump off

The highest bridge

Hung from a rope

He hates the passer by

The one who stopped his life that day

Old Man Winter

Wanted a one way ticket

To his wife that day

The stranger got in his way

Old Man Winter

Saw that angel as the devil

All he wished for

Was wanting

 out of this world

No delay

Old Man Winter

Will never be the same

Now Summers gone
