Another set of unconnected micro poems
...lie naked with me now
let us cuddle up tight;
with your heart pressed to mine ~
in sensual love we'll delight.
Don't say it ~ you don't mean it,
I can see it in your eyes ~
because you're not real
doesn't matter what I feel
My prayers to protect your innocent heart ~
sweet little joy sent from heaven.
And I'd bring slaughter so swift to all who'd dare harm you;
love my captive prison.
Eyes are the window,
gateway to the soul;
my eyes just cannot lie.
Betray me each time I've seen you,
only the perceptive see why.
Truly there is marvel in the beauty of creation;
captivates all the senses,
with tremendous sensations.
An escape from the narcissistic culture of "me",
to the wider world of real beauty to be seen.
