Here is one of a few poems about recycling I have made for a booklet "Many ways to prevent recyclables from being thrown away."

They can be used as greenhouses to grow your veg seedlings

They can be used for science experiments amidst exciting things

They can be used as a revolving pointer in a kid’s game

They can be used as skittles, another child’s game

They can be used as posy holders with paint and a trim

They can be used to save a life from death most grim

They can be used for a trumpet by toddlers small

They can be used to tame plants grown too tall.

They can be used to carry drinking water throughout the day

They can be used to shield candles from gusts of doorways

They can be used to save up treasured pennies for the poor

They can be used to water the plants and hang them above the door

They can be used to water the animals pouring into a tub

They can be used put handles on a handmade cup

They can be used to cover with papermache for a mould

They can be used  building sancastles as a scoop or mould

They can be used as tealights with care for decoration

They can be used to make stockings for a special occasion

They can be used to stop pests from attacking your roses dear

They can be used to catch wasps with honey and vinegar

They can be used for surplus liquid as storage saving

They can be used  for a funnel for your car radiator before driving

They can be used as a shaker with the holey lid still on

They can be used for making mosaics on

They can be used if thick and round as a pastry rolling pin

They can be used if small to keep dressmakers pins or paperclips in

They can be used whether thick or thin handle for making gifts

They can be used for storing paint colours for hobby artists

They can be used to hold crochet hooks and pens in

They can be used to make a baby's toy rattle to make them grin

They can be used for many more things untold but one thing is certain

They can be used again and again so don't throw away but recycle again.
