An Indian standing on roads in hot mid-day to keep the hopes of families alive.

After satisfying our hunger, I and my friend headed back to home. As many other people I was also careless for my safety in driving. I didn't strap my helmet. Not everyone would be lucky like me;when I stopped at a traffic signal, this Indian from somewhere came to me holding a placard saying “strap your helmet” written in “red”. I thanked him with big heart who is so generous in reminding once safety.Strapped my helmet and resumed my journey as green reflected. My bike kept its motion, but not my heart. I wanted to know about this person who is standing alone under hot sun directing everyone their own safety. He is not related with anyone except by “humanity” which most of us forget. I took an U-turn (remember life isn't a U-turn) and met him.

His name was Ganesh presently working for Cognizant, Chennai. He met with an accident near Shilparamam, Hyderabad. He broke his collar bone but was saved because of his safety steps “Wear Helmet and Strap it”. He then started by taking a bold decision “I will make sure everyone follows safety”. One of the great poets once said “Someone Somewhere should take a step forward for good cause”. He is doing it whenever he finds time irrespective of places. I couldn't just thank him but I promise from now I too will take initiative in any good cause.

“DRIVE SAFE AND MAKE ROADS SAFER AND YOUR LIFE SAFEST."
