(Rip Mom Sept. 30, 2015) Where do I begin to tell a story of the person who brought me in to this world. So many stories over the years but when you lose your mom everything else seems to take a back seat to the final day. When they say she is gone. Means no more visits or hugs. No final last minute jokes or smiles. No words of wisdom to make yet another bad day seem like hope could shine. You begin a journey of an emotional roller coaster where at moments tears can fall from memories gone by. Occassionally a smile as you remember something you loved. Some forgotten story suddenly surfaces that you thought you had forgotten. Many times we forget it's not always " Happy Mother's Day " for everyone. Just remembrance of things that will no longer grow. No new stories. No tomorrows. All we can hope is that life is eternal and that she did not die but is in a much better place now. A place we will learn of when our time comes. Until that day all we have is the memories. The questions as to why now. When it comes to losing a loved one there is never a time when it's right to let go. For each has to decide that in their own time as to the burdens they can carry. To that I just simply say " Happy Mother's Day Mom.... " Where ever you are I hope all is well. I hope it is the place you dreamed it would be. Take Care. See you in the future. Love ~ Ken ~
